National Environmental Law Symposium

  • February 17, 2016

Join your colleagues on February 26th and 27th as the Canadian Institute of Resources Law (CIRL), the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, and the Ontario Bar Association present the Fifth National Environmental Law Symposium.

This year's theme is Environment Inspections and Enforcement Actions: On-site and in Court. The environmental law symposium will examine major issues that arise in the course of inspections and enforcement actions, beginning with the decision to prosecute and proceeding sequentially through key decision points, ending with available defences.

The symposium will be conducted by some of the leading environmental law scholars and practitioners from across Canada, reflecting both civil law and common law perspectives. For complete details and registration information click here: French | English.
