The Supreme Court of Canada recently closed a “loophole” created by the Ontario Court of Appeal’s 1993 decision in Prete v. Ontario when it held in Ravndahl v. Saskatchewan that statutory limitation periods apply to constitutional claims for personal monetary relief.
