This downtown Toronto firm with approximately 15 Lawyers provides a long-term growth plan into Partnership. They have built a brand that is recognised nationally and trusted by professionals in need of support to manage their employment outcome.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the founders of the firm while also working directly with/for the Partners at simultaneous times, the best suited individual has a compassionate yet results-driven personality.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The role will have a constant inbound workflow that includes but not be limited to:
- 70% plaintiff work and 30% employer.
- Wrongful or constructive dismissal case.
- Severance payouts.
- Harassments files.
- Employment contracts.
- Human Rights and Discrimination.
THE REQUIREMENTS
The firm is looking for someone between 1-to-3-year post call experience with a focus in Employment Law on the employee side preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to juggle constant inbound workflow.
COMPENSATION
They are offering a competitive base salary plus bonus potential, which will all be based on experience brought to the table.
- Base Salary: $100K – $120K
- Vacation: 3 weeks
- Bonus: discretionary primarily, but all factors related to results taken into consideration
- Benefits: package provided by employer
- Working model: Hybrid, WFH option
