Two Cups of Tea is a series of articles written by the author as he recounts a casual interaction with some very inspirational world leaders, scholars and members of the legal profession and elaborates on discussions had over two metaphorical cups of tea.

On August 18, 2019, I had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari in London, England. Mr. Bukhari is a citizen of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. He is an entrepreneur who is presently Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development and Chairman of the National Tourism Coordination Board (NTCB) and the Pakistan Tourism Board.

While having a conversation over two cups of tea, Mr. Bukhari became aware of my interests in politics and international human rights and was kind enough to invite me to join him as he gave interviews to local and international media outlets. During this time, I was made aware of human rights violations being committed against Muslims in India. Conscious of Mr. Bukhari’s role as a representative of the Government of Pakistan and aware of the recent diplomatic issues between Pakistan and India, I decided to investigate for myself and here is what I found.
