For the 2013-2014 program year, the Civil Litigation section held its Fundamental Sunrise Breakfast Series.

The second session for this year was Offers to Settle

Overview

Purpose:  The purpose of the rule is to encourage parties to make offers to settle by providing that if the party making the offer achieves a better result at the hearing than under the Offer to Settle, that party will secure a better order as to costs that would otherwise have been the case.
