TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.

I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and reside in Toronto with my spouse and two children.

TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR PRACTICE/BUSINESS.

Chaudhary Law Office is a three-lawyer firm retained by both individuals and businesses for various visa applications and permits. We also represent clients at the various tribunals contained within the Immigration Refugee Board, as well as at the Federal Court of Canada. Some matters at these tribunals relate to preventing removal from Canada and other enforcement related matters which are also within our expertise.

WHY PRACTICE IMMIGRATION LAW?

I articled at an immigration law firm and was exposed to this type of law at the start of my legal training. I developed an affinity for the advocacy element in immigration law, where clients’ circumstances are often presented as a narrative, in contrast to areas such as real-estate law. Some immigration law issues have significant policy and societal implications which transcend a particular client’s situation.
