We have reached the half-way point in the 3-year transition from the Canada Corporations Act (“CCA”) to the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (“CNCA”), with less than 5% of CCA corporations having completed the transition.

The importance of well written board policies and codes of conduct ensure organizational efficiency and compliance with relevant laws. Often corporations don’t realize the value of board policies until after an incident occurs.
