With a strong emphasis on innovation and technology, they are expanding their team and seeking a dedicated Junior Personal Injury Lawyer to join them on a remote basis in Toronto.
Position Overview: We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Personal Injury Lawyer to contribute to a growing practice. As a remote team member, you will be responsible for handling personal injury cases, providing legal advice, and ensuring client satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to build a rewarding career in personal injury law.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury files, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and other injury claims.
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant legislation and legal trends in personal injury law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Called to the Bar in Ontario.
- 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law (experience gained through articles and prior employment is a must).
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
