A cross-country tour to discuss mental health in the workplace concluded this week. OBA President, Orlando Da Silva, LSM, participated in three of the five sessions hosted by the Economic Club of Canada in conjunction the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Lundbeck Canada, Cookson James Loyalty, Excellence Canada, and Mental Health International.
A series of observations and workplace tips were offered as part of the discussions:
- Small gestures go a long way,
- Set a positive tone,
- Cultivate connections, and
- educate.
