  • March 14, 2022

As of April 4, 2022, the Ontario Court of Justice will change its mode of appearances (in-person/virtual/hybrid) for various family law matters, including CYFSA and adoption matters. This chart outlines the changes on an interim basis only.

Please also note that the chart is not yet public but will be released in a Scheduling of Family Matters in the Ontario Court of Justice notice shortly  -  end of day or tomorrow

The court will consider input on the longer-term mode of proceedings in the near future.  If you have any comments regarding the longer-term mode of appearances for family matters, please forward to advocacy@oba.org by March 24th so that we can forward them to the Court by their deadline of March 25th.
