On November 25, 2021, the Ontario Bar Association ("OBA") presented The Honourable Mary Jo Nolan with the Award of Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR"). The award ceremony was held by Zoom, and over 70 people attended the ceremony.
I was honoured to Chair the award ceremony as The Honourable Mary Jo Nolan's nominator for the award, and as the Chair of the OBA ADR Executive Section.
The Tribute Speakers at the ceremony were the Honourable Justice Renee Pomerance, Harvey Strosberg, and Peter Eberlie, each of whom participated in many parts of The Honourable Mary Jo Nolan's journey. The OBA President, Karen Perron, also delivered congratulatory remarks on behalf of the OBA.
