The Ontario Bar Association is extending its sincere congratulations to The Honourable George R. Strathy on his appointment as Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Chief Justice Strathy is a long-time active member of the Ontario Bar Association dating back to the beginning of his legal career when he was Chair of the Young Lawyers’ Division and a past member of the OBA Board. He has been a frequent speaker at OBA events and has often taken part as a member of selection committees for various OBA awards including the nominating committee for the OBA Civil Litigation Award.
The OBA looks forward to continuing our long association with Chief Justice Strathy and working together for the benefit of the public, the bar and our justice system.
