Ryerson looking for input on LPP program: Canadian Lawyer

Charlotte Santry of Canadian Lawyer magazine reports that Ryerson University’s law practice program needs lawyers to help shape its curriculum, advise on up-to-date practice, and provide interviewing tips, according to incoming executive director Chris Bentley, the London lawyer and former Ontario Attorney General.

The story says the Ontario Bar Association is launching an “outreach and consultation effort early in the new year to get the views of lawyers on what should be in the curriculum of the program. OBA treasurer Doug Downey, an Orillia lawyer, is heading an LPP committee and will be the go-to person for lawyers who want to offer help and advice.
