Biography
Christina is a seasoned civil litigation and employment lawyer. She recently withdrew from her partnership at Dale & Lessmann LLP in downtown Toronto to start her own law firm in Belleville, Ontario, and continues to serve her clients throughout Ontario. Clients appreciate Christina's common sense and her quiet, aggressive approach to legal problems.
During Christina's 15 years at Dale & Lessmann LLP, she gained vast experience working with employer companies including being in constant communication with human resource professionals to structure and administer policies to prevent future problems, turnover, reduce future costs, and also manage employment problems as they arise. Christina is a seasoned negotiator helping her clients achieve satisfying and cost-effective settlements. Employers and employees seek out Christina for assistance with employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, employee handbooks and policies, termination letters, wrongful dismissal claims, workplace discrimination, employee absences, and a host of various employment issues.
Christina is also an experienced lawyer in commercial litigation, debtor remedies, mortgage enforcement, construction lien law, and human rights. She has experience in representing banks, lenders, landlords, property management companies, European companies, and funeral directors. She has considerable experience in real estate disputes including cottage easements and immeasurable experience regarding vexatious litigants.
