The Government of Ontario has issued an order under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act that changes how documents are served on the Crown and related entities.
Effective immediately, documents to be served on the Crown and related entities in any civil (non-criminal) proceeding, administrative proceeding or intended proceeding must be served by email, in accordance with the instructions set out here.
