The Ministry of the Attorney General has advised that as of May 31, 2021, credit and debit cards payments for documents filed through Justice Services Online (JSO) will not be charged fees until the documents submitted have been accepted for filing by court staff.
Filers using Interac® Online for payment will still be charged immediately upon submission of their documents. Refunds will be processed within the standard 30 days if their submission is rejected by court staff.
MAG encourages use of JSO to file documents and pay for court fees securely by debit or credit card. Users can also use JSO to request a fee waiver certificate or submit documents with an existing fee waiver certificate.
