Valerie Kleinman is a Senior Associate at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto. Valerie has significant experience working on all types of work permit applications, including CUSMA Investor applications and intra-company transfers. She has developed an expertise in the area of employer compliance. She has represented clients in all areas of Canadian citizenship and immigration law such as work permits, study permits, visitor visas, family class applications, Federal Skilled Worker and Canadian Experience Class applications through the Express Entry System, and Provincial Nominee Program applications. Tristen is a Partner at KMB Law in the Business & Estate Succession Group. Tristen has extensive experience in estate planning, including trust planning for high-net-worth clients and for beneficiaries with special needs requiring customized trust plans, as well as complex estate administration, including matters requiring vesting orders, passing of accounts, and multi-jurisdictional estates. In the early part of her legal career, she practiced in general litigation which serves her well when it comes to advising clients on complex estate matters. Tristen received her Juris Doctor from the University of Winsor and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. When not in the office, Tristen is often gardening, painting with her daughter, or crocheting Pride-coloured blankets. Biography
Airianna was raised in Waterloo Region and has always been heavily involved in her community. Graduating from the International Baccalaureate Program at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute, in Kitchener. She then went Western University and received a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Specialization in Political Science with minors in French, Sociology and Philosophy. She chose to broaden her horizons and applied to law schools in the United Kingdom. Airianna chose to attend City, University of London for the Graduate Entry LLB Accelerated program. Coming home following the completion of her law degree, she completed the National Accreditation Process and wrote the licensing exams, then entered the Law Practice Program via Toronto Metropolitan University and completed her law placement in corporate and commercial real estate. She is now an Associate Lawyer, practicing family law with McLeod Green Dewar LLP & Associates. For the 2026-2027 year she was elected as Secretary to the Young Lawyers Division of the Ontario Bar Association and part of the OBA's Family Law Section Executive. Airianna is passionate about supporting women of colour, visible minorities, youth and the 2SLBGTQIA+ communities.
