Christine Ann Marchetti
Biography
Christine Ann Marchetti is the owner of Marchetti Family Law & Mediation with an office in Burlington, Ontario. She attended Western Law and was called to the bar in 2005. She is a DRO, has been a member of the legal panel at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer since 2014, has sat on the executive of the OBA (Family Law Section) since 2018 (currently CPD Liaison), is the Incoming Chair for the OBA Child and Youth Law Section, and is the outgoing Chair on the Board of Dundas Little Theatre (executive since 2018). Christine has her collaborative family law certification and is also an accredited family mediator with OAFM. Christine is a mother, theatre lover, and a bookworm.
Hilary F.E. Warder
Biography
Hilary Warder is the Founding Counsel at Warder Law Professional Corporation and has practiced family law for over 33 years, primarily in Kingston. She is a graduate of Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws. Hilary has also been an agent for the Children’s Lawyer on the personal rights panel for 25 years. Outside of her private practice, Hilary has been an Adjunct Professor at Queen’s Law School and a coach for the Queen’s teams at family law negotiation competitions. Hilary was recently appointed as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Justice, Family Court. Hilary is an active member of the Family Law Section of the Frontenac Law Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts – Ontario (Kingston branch), and sits on the Executive Committees of the Family Law Section and the Child and Youth Section of the Ontario Bar Association. Hilary is in the process of completing mediation training and expects to be certified in 2026 to conduct family law mediations. She also offers private, Voice of the Child Report services.
