The SCJ has announced that effective January 18, 2021, the Small Claims Court will accept all requests to clerk for assessment hearings. In addition, all requests for settlement conferences in the Small Claims Court will follow a single procedure - there will be no distinction between a request on consent of all parties or a request by a single party.
