About the Foundation

Established in 1987, the OBA Foundation is the charitable arm of the Ontario Bar Association. The OBA Foundation promotes public legal education and advances innovative research with the goal of improving the justice system.

Ongoing work includes funding projects that promote legal education and access to justice in marginalized communities, such as San Romanoway Revitalization Association-sponsored programs; high school trial moots across the province; and fellowships in law and ethics.

The activities of the OBA Foundation are governed by its Trustees, a group of dedicated lawyers from across the Province.
