Our first session provides an overview of the application and appointment process for federal and provincial judicial vacancies, including the new amendments to the provincial application process.
The second session of the OBA’s Foundations in Judicial Competencies Certificate Program, explores some of the essential pillars of judicial excellence, namely, independence, integrity and diligence.
The third session of the OBA’s Foundations in Judicial Competencies Certificate Program, explores more of the essential pillars of judicial excellence, namely, equality and impartiality.
The fourth session of the OBA’s Foundations in Judicial Competencies Certificate Program, explores insights from appeal court judges.
The fifth session of the OBA’s Foundations in Judicial Competencies Certificate Program, explores managing the courtroom by setting the stage, as well as interactions with counsel and witnesses.
The sixth session of the OBA’s Foundations in Judicial Competencies Certificate Program, explores the basics of judicial reasoning.
