Top 10 Lessons We Learned in 2020 to Survive Working from Home in 2021

When we suddenly switched to working remotely in March 2020, we scrambled to take home our laptops and tackle urgent work related to COVID-19. Microsoft Teams meetings quickly became standard. As 2020 unfolded, it became clear that working from home wasn’t going away anytime soon. Weeks stretched into months. Colleagues joined our branch virtually, including Brennyn who started her articles. We collectively groaned at buzzwords like “pivot” and “the new normal.”

As many of us are approaching the one-year anniversary of working from home, this can be an opportunity to reflect on how remote work is, or isn’t, working for you. Here are our top 10 lessons from 2020.
