With the closing of a particularly challenging year that brought several changes for all of us, 2021 has reinforced the idea of remote working on a global level. Many hoped for the return of some normality at the announcement of the vaccines, however the reality of this has been delayed.

To ensure that you are fully equipped to maintain your overall wellbeing, we recommend the following wellness tips:

Physical activity: Transitioning from home to work came in the form of commute to work for majority of us.However, with remote work, heading straight from bed to work in your pyjamas can be convenient but can be detrimental for your mindset.  Starting off your day with any form of physical activity gets your blood flowing, dopamine levels rising and keeps you physically healthy. Physical activity can incorporate anything from strength training, cardiovascular training, fitness regime, a walk around the block, yoga, stretching or pilates. Even 30 minutes of this every morning before starting work will cure away those winter blues and cabin fever.
