Each year, the OBA’s Make a Will Month aims to educate the public on the importance of having a Will done by a lawyer. The event usually sees multiple legal information sessions presented by member volunteers at libraries and community hubs across Ontario, alongside a social mediate campaign to raise awareness of the potential complications that arise from a poorly drafted (or non-existent) Will.

While presentations normally take place concurrently on multiple nights a week in local Public Library branches, this year, due to cancellation of in-branch programming, the event was streamlined to three online sessions through the Toronto Public Library, two sessions in Ottawa, three through the Kingston Frontenac Public Library, and one by each of the Timmins, Thunder Bay, and Hamilton Public Libraries.
