New Regional Senior Justice: Justice Marlyse Dumel has been appointed as a new regional senior justice to the Ontario Court of Justice in the East Region, effective September 25, 2026. In March 2017, Justice Dumel was appointed to the OCJ, presiding in Ottawa in both English and French. Between 2022 and 2026, she was the local administrative judge.

She will take office at the June 25 Convocation. As Treasurer, Ms. Konanur is committed to advancing access to justice and removing barriers for the public and the professions.
