Local Planning Appeal Tribunal - Proposed Interim Hearing Format

As the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (“LPAT”) navigates the world of electronic hearings in light of the Covid-19 Pandemic, it has engaged in consultation with lawyers to determine best practices. OBA Municipal Law Section executive members Peter Gross, Katarzyna Sliwa, and Alexis Alyea participated in the consultation, providing representation from both the public and private sectors. As a result of the consultation, the LPAT has provided a Video Hearing Guide, Sample Procedural Order for Video Hearings, and Acknowledgment of Expert’s Duty Form.
