I would like to thank the OBA Family Section and the efforts of those involved in, at long last and appropriately honouring the very significant contribution of my mentor, teacher, colleague and friend Justice David Steinberg to Family Justice spanning six decades.

We are certainly due for a re-evaluation of the procedures employed by the Office of the Children’s Lawyer in the resolution of custody and access disputes.
