TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.

With over 18 years of immigration experience, I have worked within several service areas in the immigration field, working with corporate clients, individuals and refugees.

I started my career as an Executive Officer in the Immigration and Nationality Directorate for the United Kingdom Government.  I was selected for several roles within the Immigration and Nationality Directorate, including: Supervisor of the local Asylum and Refugee teams; Manager of the local Human Rights team; Assessment Officer for claims made under the UN Human Rights legislation; and Legal support for the United Kingdom Government in Immigration Tribunal hearings.

Prior to my call to the Law Society of Ontario, I was a licenced Immigration Consultant, assisting numerous individuals to immigrate to Canada under various economic categories.

Since obtaining my qualification with the Law Society of Ontario, I have worked with several Bay Street law firms, assisting their corporate clients with immigration matters to both Canada and across the world.

I have spoken at the Ontario Bar Association Institute Series 2019, Helpful Tips for LMIA Work Permits, and have been published in the California Law Review, CERC publications, the Baker & McKenzie website, and the Association of Corporate Counsel publication.
