Once more commonly referred to as the “pound symbol” or the “number sign”, today, hashtags are everywhere and form part of every modern marketing strategy. Many companies and organizations (small or big) incorporate trending hashtags into their social media presence It is an easy way to join in on important conversational topics and create new dialogues. Doing so allows one to not only promote important causes, but also spread the word about major events or news stories.
Thus, as the activities of the OBA’s Citizenship and Immigration Section are in full swing, we have a dedicated specific hashtag for our section: #OBAIMM.
