PRIORITY PD: NOSI Ban for Consumer Goods – What You Need to Know

On June 6, 2024, Bill 200, The Homeowner Protection Act, 2024 came into force, amending section 54 of the Personal Property Security Act (PPSA) to provide that a Notice of Security Interest (NOSI) in respect of consumer goods may no longer be registered on land title.
