A major focus this year has been to deal with the OBA Taskforce on Judicial Mediation. A number of our Executives attended the Policy Day in December 2011 and participated in that valuable process.

Conflict Coaching

On February 27, the ADR Section presented a panel discussion on the topic of conflict coaching. The panel was moderated by Robin Dodokin a lawyer, mediator and coach with Garfinkle Biderman LLP . The panelists were Cinnie Noble , Jeff Morris and Rhonda L. Smith .

Mediation Boot Camp

The Ontario Bar Association ADR Section recently hosted a CLE program titled, “Mediation Boot Camp – The Nuts and Bolts of a Successful Mediation” which proceeded on June 4, 2012 in Toronto.
