Lawyers Lead Free Public Information Sessions During Make A Will Month Everyone needs a properly drafted will. This month, the Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and its members will be promoting the importance of wills as they mark Make A Will Month with free virtual legal information sessions in every region of the province.

We are looking for expressions of interest from human rights practitioners to present papers at our upcoming Annual Update on Human Rights professional development event, hosted by the Constitutional, Civil Liberties & Human Rights, Administrative Law and Labour & Employment Law sections.

As the enabling corporate legal framework for most not-for-profits incorporated under provincial law, understanding the ONCA will be critical to lawyers who counsel both charitable and non-charitable not-for-profits.

The new Ontario Business Registry will be required for all businesses and not-for-profit corporations to access Ontario government services such as registering a business, incorporating a not-for-profit and filing an annual return.
