Ontario Bar Association Provides Firsthand Trial Experiences to Students

TORONTO – The legal stars of tomorrow will be on full display Thursday as teams of high school students from Windsor, Sudbury, Brantford, Ottawa, Mississauga, Richmond Hill and Brampton compete for the provincial championship of the Ontario Bar Association Secondary School Mock Trial Tournament.

The mock trial competition happens between 1-3 pm at the Superior Court of Justice, 330 University Ave., Toronto, followed by an awards ceremony at the OBA conference centre at 20 Toronto Street from 5-7 pm.

Law Day is a national event celebrating the signing of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
