The OBA Municipal Law Section is pleased to announce that Wilson Lee, Associate Chair, Ontario Municipal Board is the recipient of the 2016 OBA Award of Excellence in Municipal Law.
“Wilson Lee has played a pivotal role in the furtherance of municipal and land use planning law in the Province of Ontario through his extraordinary efforts, first as a municipal lawyer then as a member and a leader of the Province’s land use planning court, the Ontario Municipal Board,” commented one of his nominators. “His distinguished service in balancing the competing interests of municipal governments, landowners, developers and residents, has been an essential component in the well-planned growth and development of the Province.”
