The Ontario Bar Association congratulates Dr. Dianne Saxe on her appointment as the next Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, effective December 1, 2015.
Dianne has been a long-time member of the OBA, who has generously contributed her time and expertise as one of Canada’s most respected authorities on environmental law.
As an Executive member for many years, Dianne has contributed significantly to the Environmental Law Section’s educational programs, networking and advocacy initiatives. Dianne has been a frequent speaker at OBA events and was a 2009 recipient of the OBA’s Distinguished Service Award.
The OBA extends its sincerest best wishes to Dianne and looks forward to continuing to work with her in her new role as an independent officer of the Legislature.
