OBA Member Appointed to Ontario Court of Justice

The Ontario Bar Association congratulates the Honourable Jonathan Bliss on his appointment to the Ontario Court of Justice.

Justice Bliss been a long-time member of the Ontario Bar Association. For the past 20 years, he has been a sole practitioner of criminal law. Prior to that, Justice Bliss was an associate at the firm of Rosen, Fleming, where he practiced criminal law at all levels of court. Justice Bliss has volunteered at Flemingdon Community Legal Services since 2009, where he provides legal advice and services to low income persons. He is also a member of the Legal Aid Ontario area committee, which is responsible for reviewing applications for legal aid funding.

The OBA extends to Justice Bliss its sincerest best wishes.

Justice Bliss will preside in Barrie.
