Many OBA members were among those honoured by The Law Society of Upper Canada at its annual awards ceremony recognizing outstanding members of the legal profession on Wednesday.
OBA members Craig. R Carter, Adam M. Dodek, Faisal Joseph, John B. Laskin and E. Patrick Shea were each presented with the 2015 Law Society Medal, an award given to outstanding lawyers in Ontario in recognition of exceptional service, either in a particular area of practice, academics or another professional capacity.
OBA member Paul Le Vay received the 2015 Lincoln Alexander Award, which goes to an Ontario lawyer who has demonstrated long-standing interest and commitment to the public and its well-being through community service.
