Pascale Daigneault, president of the Ontario Bar Association, attended an event Feb. 11 that supports an international program that recycles bras.
Bras Recycled is an organization that sends used bras to international partners such as doctor’s offices in countries in Africa, south-east Asia, the Caribbean and South America. The idea is to provide the bras to girls and women in order to promote health and self confidence.
The event was held at Gluckstein Personal Injury Lawyers in Toronto.
