OBA's "Why I Went To Law School" campaign gets gold

WhyI Wins GoldThe Ontario Bar Association’s “Why I Went To Law School” campaign has been recognized with a prestigious award.

The Toronto ad agency Agency59, which designed the OBA campaign, has won a gold MarCom Award, which is handed out every year by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, a U.S.-based industry association.

The award, in the category of best ads and advertising campaign, recognizes “outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals.”

The OBA’s innovative campaign features the personal stories of individual lawyers talking about their reasons for going to law school as a way for them to express their motivations and reflect on their ideals.

There were over 6,500 entries this year from corporate marketing and communications departments, ad agencies, public relations firms, design shops and production companies, located in the United States, Canada, and several other countries throughout the world.
