Up North | Ontario Bar Association wants you to think about making a will

  • November 14, 2018

Up North: According to an Angus Reid survey from earlier this year, half of Canadians don't have a last will and testament in place. So the Ontario Bar Association is promoting November as "Make a Will Month". Lawyers are holding free legal information sessions across the province to help people learn about making a will before they die. Two sessions will take place in northern Ontario: in Thunder Bay tomorrow, and in Timmins on November 26. Lynne Vicars is the president of the Ontario Bar Association. Up North host Waubgeshig Rice reached her earlier to ask why it's so important for people to have a will.
