Important updates from the Superior Court of Justice:

Probate Information Form

Probate applications emailed to the Court must now include the new Information Form. See section D(7) (Email Processes for Estate Certificates (Probate)) of the Court’s Consolidated Notice to the Profession, Litigants, Accused Persons, Public and the Media.

Class actions: updated best practices guide and model orders

The Best Practices Guide for Class Actions in Ontario, available on the SCJ website, has now been updated to include:

• Information to be filed in advance of Motions
• Use of Compendium
• Case Management of Class Actions
• Case Management Post-Certification
