OCJ Directive re Scheduling of Family Law Matters Revised In lights of the Ontario government’s new emergency orders, the OCJ has revised the COVID-19: Scheduling of Family Law Matters at the Ontario Court of Justice. The new Scheduling of Family Law Matters directive eliminates the reference to certain appearances being presumptively in person and waives the requirement to file sworn documents, beyond unsworn affidavits of service. Electronically signed documents are acceptable for filing.
Health Information Update - Guelph (Jan 12) MAG has learned that on Tuesday January 12, 2021, the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph (WDG) Public Health Unit has declared an outbreak at the Guelph Courthouse due to three positive cases with an epidemiological link occurring in the same work area within a 14-day period where all cases could have reasonably acquired their infection in the workplace.
