Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
AGCO will continue its compliance monitoring activities as well as its licensing, registration and customer services. The AGCO’s online portal,iAGCO, will continue to remain open. The AGCO will continue its activities to monitor compliance with laws and regulations. Individuals and businesses can continue to access AGCO’s live customer support by phone or online from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, though you may at times experience a longer than usual wait time. You can also submit your questions, comments or complaints anytime. You may also contact your local Compliance Official by phone or email if you have any questions.

Animal Care Review Board
The Board requests that applications, supporting documentation, and case-related submissions be submitted via email to acrb.registrar@ontario.ca.

Criminal Injuries Compensation Board
The Criminal Injuries Compensation Board (CICB) continues to hear applications electronically or in written format.
If you are not able to meet a timeline as set out in the CICB's Rules, you will be allowed to do so at a later date.
If you are not able to proceed with a hearing, contact the CICB to request to have the matter rescheduled.

College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
There will be no walk-in visits at CMTO. The CMTO cannot receive packages at their office, and has asked the public to use electronic mail wherever possible. The public can also use mail or registered mail which will be received at an alternative location. College of Nurses of Ontario Discipline Committee
The building is currently closed to visitors. Discipline hearings scheduled between March 16, 2020 and April 3, 2020 will be rescheduled to a later date. For more information: https://www.cno.org/en/protect-public/hearing-schedule/.
Consent and Capacity Board
Effective July 5, 2021, the CCB will continue to expand its use of videoconference. A party may request for a hearing to be convened by videoconference. The CCB has limited capacity for videoconferencing, however all mutual requests for videoconferencing will be granted if capacity is available.

Custody Review Board
The Custody Review Board (CRB) continues to hear applications and make recommendations on the placement of young people in custody or detention.
The CRB will accept applications, appeals, documents and submission outside the legislated timelines. Hearings are being held by teleconference or in writing.

Condominium Authority of Ontario
The CAO’s online services are fully available to support parties during this time period and the CAO team can still be reached via the Contact Us Page.
All deadlines remain in effect for returns, notice of change filing, payments, and director training completion.

Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario
The HRTO announced on July 14, 2021 that they will begin scheduling some mediations and hearings by Zoom beginning July 15, 2021, with the goal of transitioning fully to Zoom later this year.
To support this change, Tribunals Ontario has published the Guide to Videoconference Proceedings and Zoom for the benefit of parties, representatives, and the public.
Proceedings may continue to take place by telephone, over Microsoft Teams, and in writing depending on the circumstance.

Landlord & Tenant Board
On July 2, 2021, the LTB announced the launch of a new online tool, Navigate Tribunals Ontario, that will help users attain information about their rights and responsibilities and tribunal specific rules and processes. To visit the Navigate Tribunals Ontario tool, please visit the LTB website.
On June 21, 2021, the LTB announced expansion of access terminals to three more hearing centres for parties who require access to a computer phone, and/or the internet to participate in their hearing. The expansion includes sites in Hamilton, London and Ottawa. To learn more about the access terminals please visit the LTB website.
Licence Appeal Tribunal
The Licence Appeal Tribunal - Automobile Accident Benefits Service (LAT–AABS) is expanding a canvassing-based scheduling model to all oral adjudicative events.
This model is responsive to the needs of our stakeholders and will allow all AABS parties to actively participate in the scheduling of their oral adjudicative events by selecting case conference and hearing dates that work best for them.
In 2020, LAT-AABS conducted a pilot project to canvass parties for preferred dates for first case conference events on catastrophic files. Given the success of the pilot and the positive feedback we have received, we are expanding this model to all LAT-AABS parties.
This process will now be fully managed by the LAT-AABS scheduling unit. Starting March 21, 2022, LAT-AABS parties will receive an email that provides available dates for their upcoming case conference or oral hearing. Parties can then select three preferred dates for consideration.

The Licence Appeal Tribunal - General Service is now accepting filing fee payments online, for both Appellants and Applicants.
Appellants and Applicants can use a credit card or debit card backed by Visa or Mastercard to pay the $106 filing fee. The LAT asks that the payment receipt and Notice of Appeal or Application be sent in a single email to LATRegistrar@ontario.ca. For more information, you can visit the LAT Filings and Fees webpage.
Local Planning Appeal Tribunal
All appearance hearings, telephone conference calls and mediation events scheduled until April 3, 2020 will be adjourned and rescheduled at a later date. The Tribunal will also not schedule any new hearing event until further notice. In addition, all front-line counter services will be closed until further notice.

Ontario Energy Board
The Ontario Parole Board (OPB) is continuing to schedule and hold parole hearings.
The OPB is temporarily changing its processes to conduct hearings by electronic or written means, rather than solely in-person.
Recent amendments to Ontario regulations permit applications for temporary absences to be approved by the Ministry of the Solicitor General.
If referred to by the Ministry of the Solicitor General, the OPB will continue to review temporary absences longer than 72 hours in duration. Learn more about our new processes (PDF).

Ontario Labour Relations Board
The Board will not be suspending the time periods in which steps must be taken in its proceedings during this time and will be processing applications in the usual course, so long as the required declarations that an employer is continuing to operate and carry on business have been made.
In-person hearings have been cancelled up to and including May 29, 2020.
For all certification/termination/displacement applications, the applicant will now be required to confirm to the Board that the employer is continuing to operate and carry on business. Changes have been made to the following forms: A-1, A-6, A71 and A-77. The Board continues to hold representation votes electronically, but votes will not be held for workplaces closed as a result of COVID19.
For grievance referrals in the construction industry, no default decisions will be issued until the applicant has confirmed to the Board by declaration that the employer is continuing to operate and carry on business.

ONTARIO LAND TRIBUNAL
The Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) hearings and mediations may be conducted by video conference or teleconference. In-person hearings or hearings involving both in-person and electronic means are not currently available. In response to COVID-19, all in-person service counters are closed until further notice. Ontario Securities Commission
The Ontario Securities Commission will not be holding in-person hearings until at least April 30, 2020. The Office of the Secretary will reach out to parties with hearings scheduled between now and April 30 to determine if a hearing may proceed via teleconference or in writing.
The OSC's Contact Centre is operational at essential staffing levels. At this time, we encourage you to contact us by e-mail or by phone only, as we cannot respond to correspondence received by mail or by fax during this period.

Social Benefits Tribunal
The SBT is amending the procedural timelines to accept:
- appeals outside of the 30-day legislative requirement
- additional documents for hearings outside of the regular timelines
- reconsideration requests outside the 30-day legislative requirement.
The SBT will prioritize interim assistance matters and determine adjournments on a case-by-case basis. The SBT may send Notices of Hearing after the 60 days legislated timeline and decisions may be released after the 60-day legislated timeframe.

Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal
WSIAT has begun planning for the scheduling of a small number of in-person hearings. The WSIAT anticipates being able to resume in-person hearings, on a limited basis, in mid-August.
The scheduling of time-sensitive matters that are not suitable for teleconference or videoconference will be prioritized for in-person hearings and further information about the selection of cases for in-person hearings will be provided soon.

Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeal Tribunal
he tribunal will work towards changing the default hearing method to videoconference as an interim measure with an anticipated launch timeline for this change in autumn of 2022.
