MAG: Court Fee Changes, Effective January 1, 2023

Beverly Leonard. Assistant Deputy Attorney General, announced on December 5, 2022, increases to civil, small claims and family court fees in the Superior Court of Justice and Court of Appeal for Ontario, as well as fee waiver eligibility thresholds, all of which will come into effect on January 1, 2023.

DOJ: Relaunch of the 2022 National Family Law Survey

The Department of Justice Canada invites you to participate in the relaunched 2022 National Family Law Survey (NFL Survey), which will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. This year the focus is on child support. The survey will close on December 23, 2022.

The Ministry of Attorney General will be releasing additional enhancements to its Justice Services Online platform effective July 25, 2022

RSJ Riccetti, CW Region, releases notice to the profession - Mode of hearing and other matters

Regional Senior Justice Ricchetti released today a Notice to the Professions and Parties that addresses mode of hearing, document filing and other matters. This Central West Notice to the Professions and Parties, made pursuant to Rule 1.07(4), applies to all proceedings in the Superior Court of Justice, Central West Region, commencing April 19, 2022. This Notice supersedes all previous region-specific Practice Directions and Notices to the Profession for the Central West Region.
