The province has extended booking eligibility at COVID-19 immunization clinics to people 18 and over. This means that anyone 18 and over in 2021 is now eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment through the provincial booking system and call centre, or directly through public health units that use their own booking system.
In addition, the province says it continues to work with public health units, First Nations, Inuit, Metis communities and boards of education to ensure young people between 12 and 17 years of age will be eligible to book an appointment for their first dose beginning the week of May 31.
