Please be reminded that completing the MAG courthouse screening is a pre-requisite for everyone seeking to enter the courthouse. It can be completed online prior to arrival at the courthouse, or on paper or orally where required, at the courthouse.

- Health Information Update - Osgoode Hall Courthouse MAG provided health information regarding the Osgoode Hall Courthouse (130 Queen Street West). On Saturday May 15th MAG was informed that a person who works in the courthouse tested positive for COVID-19. View the May 17 memo for Osgoode Hall Courthouse
- Health Information Update - Timmins Courthouse Further to the May 14th provisional notification regarding this case, MAG provided further health information regarding the Timmins OCJ Courthouse located at 38 Pine Street North. View the May 17 memo for the Timmins OCJ Courthouse
- Health Information Update - Barrie Courthouse MAG provided health information regarding the Barrie Courthouse, 75 Mulcaster Street, Barrie. - Health Information Update - College Park Courthouse On May 13, 2021, MAG wrote to Justice Participants of the College Park Courthouse at 444 Yonge Street with respect to a non-OPS person who works in the building as having tested positive for COVID-19. SCJ: Notice to the Profession and Public Regarding Court Proceedings and Jury Selection and Trials
In response to the continuing public health situation, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice will continue to operate in accordance with the direction of April 8, 2021, including proceeding with all non-jury matters virtually unless otherwise necessary. Counsel and parties should request in-person hearings only when absolutely necessary. The Court will not resume jury matters in June. View more
SCJ: Family Matters - Binding Judicial Dispute Resolution Pilot Projects Practice Advisory The SCJ has released a practice advisory that applies to family law cases in the SCJ in the Simcoe, Muskoka and Cornwall SCJ, Family Court Branch and to Superior Courts in the Northwest and Northeast regions. The practice advisory is on the SCJ’s Binding Judicial Dispute Resolution pilot projects in these areas. View more
OCJ: Criminal Proceedings – Reducing out-of-custody trials and preliminary inquiries between April 26 and May 21, 2021. The reduction of out-of-custody trials and preliminary inquiries has been extended to May 21. However, starting May 10, virtual out of custody trials and preliminary inquiries may proceed.
