The OBA's Pensions and Benefits Law Section writes to the Ministry of Finance, in order to identify key issues for the Pension sector as the Ministry moves forward to introduce the necessary legislation to implement the (FSRA).

The OBA's Pension and Benefits Law section provides comments on the Ministry of Finance consultation regarding Superintendent consent for annuity purchases on wind-up & extended allocation of payments from the Pension Benefits Guarantee Fund.

The OBA Pension and Benefits Law section made submissions on two regulatory proposals under Regulation 909 of the Pension Benefits Act (PBA). One proposal relates to administrative penalties, and the second to special orders by the Superientendent.
