Our premier client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their esteemed Personal Injury Litigation team. As a remote Personal Injury Lawyer, you will be responsible for initiating actions on behalf of plaintiffs against insurance companies, regulated health professionals and healthcare institutions. This involves handling a wide assortment of MVA and Accident Benefits files.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting initial screenings of potential clients
- Conducting thorough investigations and gathering evidence
- Documenting injuries and related expenses
- Assessing and calculating damages
- Conducting witness interviews
- Reviewing medical documentation
- Drafting pleadings and motions
- Representing clients throughout the litigation process, including trial
- Providing comprehensive counselling to clients throughout the claims process
- Advocating for clients in dealings with insurance companies and the legal system
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with:
- An exceptional academic record
- Experience in a fast-paced team environment
- Membership in the Ontario Bar
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and craft persuasive arguments
- Outstanding negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships
