LCO releases Final Report on the division of pensions upon marriage breakdown

The LCO has released its Final Report on the division of pensions upon marriage breakdown. The Report includes the recommendations issued in October of 2008, but also contains background chapters on pension and family property law and a fuller discussion of the problems relating to pension valuation and division and proposals that have been made for reform of the law in this area. This is the LCO’s second Report.
