Members of the Section are insurance practitioners, in-house counsel with insurers / reinsurers and lawyers interested in a variety of areas including personal injury, property, professional liability, auto and life and health insurance.

Particular interest areas include:

• regulatory and compliance issues
• legislative reform
• caselaw developments in Ontario and beyond (coverage issues, damages, policy interpretation etc.)
• forging effective relationships between law firms and insurers
• managing a viable insurance practice

The Section offers up-to-date CLE events, topical dinner meetings, and publishes a regular newsletter, Insurance Law News. Article submissions are welcome at any time.
